What is an API?
API stands for Application Programming Interface. It is basically how different machines and software talk to each other to create ever more complex applications. Even though APIs can simply refer to an interface to a local library, or the libraries themselves. For purposes of this website, APIs are assumed to be over the network to connect clients and servers (or multiple servers depending on your architecture and terminology).
Here's the short version of what you need to do:
Sign up: Get an API key
Be a good API user: read, understand, and abide by the terms of use for the Groupe Seb API
Link back: observe the attribution and linking guidelines when displaying data from the API
Keep in touch: tell us about what you're building and talk to other developers on our community page

Interactive API Tester
The Api Screen documentation will show all endpoints, parameters and error messages available to the Groupeseb API.
If you have an API key, you can also test API calls directly from this screen. Just log-in to your Group Seb account and your key will be pre-filled. (If you don't have a key, get one now.).
